Here’s a super easy and crowd-pleasing recipe for Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents — buttery, flaky, and filled with a creamy, savory sausage mixture. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or party appetizers!


🥐 Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count each)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Sausage:
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Break it up into crumbles.
    • Drain excess grease, then let it cool slightly.
  2. Mix the Filling:
    • In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended.
  3. Prepare the Crescents:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
    • Place a heaping spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle, then roll up like a crescent.
  4. Bake:
    • Place rolled crescents on an ungreased baking sheet.
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve warm — great for dipping in ranch or hot sauce!

  • Spicy version: Use hot sausage or add red pepper flakes.
  • Cheesy upgrade: Add a little shredded cheddar or pepper jack to the filling.
