Here’s a recipe of Sausage Biscuit Bites  a perfect appetizer or breakfast-on-the-go option. These are flaky, cheesy, and savory, combining breakfast sausage, biscuits, and cheese in bite-sized form.

🧀🥓 Sausage Biscuit Bites Recipe

📋 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken)

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands or any flaky variety)

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives or green onions (optional)

🔪 Instructions:

1. Preheat and Prep:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Lightly grease a mini muffin pan (24-count works best), or line with mini cupcake liners.

2. Cook the Sausage:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked.

  • Break it up into crumbles with a spoon or spatula as it cooks.

  • Drain excess grease and let it cool slightly.

3. Mix the Filling:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and chives (if using).

  • Mix until everything is evenly combined. You can do this with a spoon or a hand mixer.

4. Prepare the Biscuit Base:

  • Open the biscuit can and separate the dough.

  • Cut each biscuit into quarters (or smaller, depending on biscuit size).

  • Flatten each piece slightly into a round disc with your fingers and press it into the bottom and sides of each muffin cup to form a base.

5. Assemble:

  • Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture into each biscuit cup.

  • Press it down gently so it’s nicely filled and slightly mounded.

6. Bake:

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.

  • Let cool for a few minutes in the pan before removing.

🍽️ Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve warm with dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or a maple-sriracha glaze.

  • These also reheat well in the toaster oven or air fryer.

❄️ Make-Ahead / Freezing Tips:

  • Assemble and freeze unbaked bites in the muffin tin, then transfer to a freezer bag once solid.

  • Bake from frozen at 375°F for 18–20 minutes, or until heated through and golden.
