Pineapple dream dessert

Pineapple Dream Dessert recipe light, fluffy, and full of tropical flavor. This no-bake layered dessert is perfect for summer gatherings, potlucks, or when you want something cool and easy!

🧾 Ingredients:

Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 16 full crackers)

  • Β½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • ΒΌ cup granulated sugar

Filling:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • Β½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip (or whipped topping), thawed

  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, well-drained (reserve a little juice if needed)


🍳 Instructions:

1. Make the Crust:

  • In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until combined.

  • Press the mixture firmly into a 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch baking dish (depending on how thick you want it).

  • Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.

2. Make the Filling:

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy (2–3 minutes).

  • Add powdered sugar and beat until fully incorporated.

  • Fold in the whipped topping until smooth.

  • Gently stir in the drained crushed pineapple.

3. Assemble the Dessert:

  • Spread the filling evenly over the chilled crust.

  • Smooth the top with a spatula.

  • Optional: Sprinkle a few extra graham cracker crumbs or crushed nuts (like pecans) on top for garnish.

4. Chill:

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, for best results.

  • Optional garnish: maraschino cherries, toasted coconut, or extra pineapple tidbits.

  • Too thick? Add a tablespoon or two of reserved pineapple juice to loosen the filling.
