🥩🧄 One-Skillet Garlic Butter Steak & Cheese Ravioli

🕒 Prep Time: 10 minutes

🍳 Cook Time: 20 minutes

🍽️ Serves: 3–4

✨ Ingredients:

For the Steak & Ravioli:

  • 1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 (9–12 oz) package refrigerated cheese ravioli (or frozen, thawed)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or steak seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional, for brightness)

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 cup baby spinach or arugula
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes or cherry tomatoes (halved)

🔪 Instructions:

1. Cook the Ravioli:

  • Boil the ravioli according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • (Reserve a little pasta water if you want to thin the sauce later.)

2. Sear the Steak:

  • Season steak pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and 2 tbsp butter.
  • Add steak in a single layer (don’t overcrowd). Sear for about 2–3 minutes per side, until browned and just cooked. Remove and set aside.

3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
  • Add 3 tbsp butter and the garlic. Cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t brown the garlic).
  • Stir in red pepper flakes, parsley, and lemon juice if using.
  • Add in cooked ravioli and toss to coat.

4. Combine & Serve:

  • Return steak to the skillet.
  • Add Parmesan and stir everything together until hot and coated.
  • Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  • Top with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs.

🧀 Optional Garnishes:

  • Extra grated Parmesan
  • Chopped chives or parsley
  • Cracked black pepper or balsamic glaze drizzle
