Here’s a One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta recipe that’s easy, rich, and full of flavor! The creamy sauce, savory beef, and garlic butter come together in one pot, making cleanup a breeze.

🍝 One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta Recipe

🥩 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter version)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (or chicken broth)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • 8 oz pasta (such as penne, rotini, or farfalle)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for the garlic butter sauce)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped, for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef:
In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat, if necessary.
  2. Sauté Vegetables:
Add the chopped onion to the pot and cook for about 3-4 minutes until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Season the Beef Mixture:
Stir in the Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Let everything cook for another minute to blend the flavors.
  4. Add Liquids and Pasta:
Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Cook the Pasta:
Add the pasta to the pot, making sure it’s submerged in the liquid. Cover the pot and let it simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened. If the sauce reduces too much, add a little more broth or cream to reach your desired consistency.
  6. Make the Garlic Butter:
While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a small pan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic. Remove from heat.
  7. Combine and Finish:
Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the garlic butter mixture and grated Parmesan cheese. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve:
Serve the creamy beef pasta hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil. You can also add extra Parmesan cheese on top for more flavor.

Tips:

  • For a richer flavor: You can add a splash of white wine when cooking the onions and garlic.
  • Add vegetables: For added nutrition, you can stir in some spinach, peas, or mushrooms toward the end of cooking.
  • Make it spicier: Add extra red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to kick up the heat.

This One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta is rich, savory, and perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner with minimal cleanup. The creamy sauce and savory beef are balanced with the delicious garlic butter—it’s a crowd-pleaser for sure!
