Here’s a simple and delicious One-Bowl Eggless Vanilla Cake recipe that’s easy to make and super moist. It’s perfect for any occasion and doesn’t require many ingredients or effort!

🍰 One-Bowl Eggless Vanilla Cake Recipe

🧁 Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (plain flour)
  • 1 cup sugar (granulated or caster sugar)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt for a vegan option)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind: dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar (to help activate the baking soda)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients:
To the same bowl, add the yogurt, vegetable oil (or melted butter), vanilla extract, milk, and lemon juice or vinegar. Mix everything together using a whisk or spatula until smooth and well combined. Be careful not to overmix; just mix until the batter comes together.
  4. Pour and Bake:
Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Cool and Serve:
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. You can serve it as-is or frost with your favorite icing, whipped cream, or fruit.

Tips:

  • Flavor Add-ins: You can easily flavor this cake by adding a little lemon zest, almond extract, or a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Frosting: If you want to keep it simple, you can dust it with powdered sugar or top it with a quick buttercream or chocolate ganache.
  • Make it Gluten-Free: Substitute the flour with a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend.

This One-Bowl Eggless Vanilla Cake is super simple, soft, and fluffy. It’s perfect for those who are avoiding eggs or just looking for a quick cake recipe that doesn’t require a lot of cleanup.
