Garlic Bread Ritz Bits

Posted on April 30, 2025

Here’s a fun and easy snack idea for Garlic Bread Ritz Bits — a crispy, garlicky treat with the familiar crunch of Ritz crackers, but with a flavorful twist! Perfect for snacking, appetizers, or as a side dish.

🧄 Garlic Bread Ritz Bits

Ingredients:

  • 1 sleeve of Ritz Bits (any flavor, but classic is best)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder (or more to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (if using unsalted butter)
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for added flavor)

🥖 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.
  2. Mix the garlic butter:
    • In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop.
    • Stir in the garlic powder, parsley, onion powder, and salt until combined. If you’re using Parmesan, add it in as well.
  3. Coat the Ritz Bits:
    • Pour the Ritz Bits into a large bowl or Ziploc bag.
    • Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the crackers, tossing gently to coat each one evenly. If you’re using a bag, seal it and shake to coat.
  4. Bake:
    • Spread the coated Ritz Bits in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden, stirring halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Cool & serve:
    • Let the garlic bread Ritz Bits cool slightly before serving.

✅ Tips:

  • Storage: Keep them in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • For an extra kick, sprinkle crushed red pepper flakes over the Ritz Bits before baking.
  • You can use fresh garlic (minced) in place of garlic powder for a more robust flavor, just sauté it in the butter until fragrant before mixing with the crackers.

Perfect for a movie night or a quick party snack! Would you like other variations or flavor suggestions?
