Fried Smores Bombs

Posted on July 1, 2025

Here’s a fun, gooey, indulgent treat that’s perfect for parties or cozy nights in: Fried S’mores Bombs! Think crispy golden outside, melted marshmallow and chocolate inside—pure dessert heaven. 🍫🔥

🍫 Fried S’mores Bombs

🔥 Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)

  • 8–10 large marshmallows

  • 8–10 small squares of milk chocolate or chocolate chips

  • Crushed graham crackers (about 1/2 cup)

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

  • Optional: powdered sugar, chocolate drizzle, or marshmallow dip for serving

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Bombs

    • Flatten each biscuit round slightly with your hands.

    • Place 1 marshmallow and 1 piece of chocolate in the center.

    • Wrap the dough tightly around the filling, pinching the seams to seal completely.

  2. Crumb Coat (Optional)

    • Roll each sealed bomb in crushed graham crackers for extra crunch and flavor.

  3. Heat the Oil

    • Pour 1–2 inches of vegetable oil into a deep skillet or pot.

    • Heat to 350°F (175°C). Test with a thermometer or a small piece of dough (it should sizzle).

  4. Fry the Bombs

    • Fry 2–3 bombs at a time for about 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown.

    • Use tongs or a slotted spoon to flip and remove. Drain on paper towels.

  5. Serve Warm

    • Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce, or serve with whipped cream.

💡 Tips:

  • Be sure the dough is sealed tightly or filling may leak during frying.

  • For a bake-only version, brush bombs with butter and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes.

  • Add a dash of cinnamon to the graham cracker crumbs for extra flavor.
