  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ½–¾ cup warm milk or heavy cream
  • Β½ cup sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: roasted garlic or chives for flavor

πŸ”₯ 1. Marinate the Chicken:

  • Combine chicken pieces, buttermilk, salt, pepper, and hot sauce in a large bowl.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  • Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  • Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off.
  • Dredge thoroughly in the flour mixture. For extra crunch, double-dip: back into buttermilk, then flour again.
