🧂 Ingredients:

For the Filet Mignon:

  • 2 filet mignon steaks (6–8 oz each)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the Grilled Shrimp:

  • 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

For the Lobster Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • ½ cup dry white wine (optional, substitute with seafood broth if preferred)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup cooked lobster meat, chopped (optional but recommended)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon zest (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filets
    • Bring steaks to room temperature, pat dry.
    • Season generously with salt and pepper.
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness).
    • Add butter during the last minute, spoon over steaks.
    • Remove from heat, tent with foil to rest.
  2. Grill the Shrimp
    • Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
    • Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat for 2 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.
  3. Make the Lobster Sauce
    • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and shallot; sauté until fragrant and translucent.
    • Pour in white wine, simmer until reduced by half.
    • Stir in heavy cream and chopped lobster meat.
    • Simmer gently until sauce thickens (~5 minutes).
    • Season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  4. Plate and Serve
    • Place filet mignon on plates, top with grilled shrimp.
    • Spoon lobster sauce generously over the steak and shrimp.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley.

  • Serve with roasted asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, or a crisp green salad.
