Eggnog Fudge

Posted on March 7, 2025
Eggnog fudge is a deliciously creamy, holiday treat that captures the flavors of eggnog in a sweet, melt-in-your-mouth dessert. Here’s a simple recipe to make it at home:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup eggnog
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

  2. Melt the White Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat. Stir constantly until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Be careful not to burn the mixture.

  3. Add the Eggnog and Flavorings: Once the white chocolate is melted, add the eggnog, nutmeg (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until everything is fully combined and smooth.

  4. Add Nuts (Optional): If you want to add some texture, fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts at this point.

  5. Transfer to Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

  6. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 3-4 hours or until firm.

  7. Cut and Serve: Once chilled, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.

Tips:

  • If you prefer a stronger eggnog flavor, you can add more eggnog (but be careful not to add too much or the fudge might become too soft).
  • You can top the fudge with a light dusting of extra nutmeg for an extra festive touch!

Enjoy your eggnog fudge—it’s perfect for the holiday season or any special occasion!
