Here’s a delicious Crustless Pizza Bake recipe — low-carb, cheesy, and packed with all your favorite pizza flavors without the dough. Perfect for keto diets, gluten-free eaters, or anyone looking for a lighter twist on pizza night!


🍕 Crustless Pizza Bake (Low-Carb Pizza Casserole)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground Italian sausage (or ground beef or turkey)
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (low sugar if keto)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar (optional)
  • 20–30 pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: black olives, red pepper flakes, chopped spinach

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×9 or 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Brown the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage (or beef) until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Add diced onion and bell pepper; sauté for 4–5 minutes until soft. Add mushrooms if using.
  3. Season and add sauce: Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and pizza sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to combine flavors.
  4. Layer in baking dish:
    • Spread the meat and veggie mixture evenly in the baking dish.
    • Sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
    • Top with pepperoni slices and any additional toppings.
  5. Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  6. Cool slightly and serve with a side salad or roasted veggies.

  • Want it spicier? Add crushed red pepper flakes or hot Italian sausage.
  • Swap in veggies like spinach, zucchini, or olives to customize.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3–4 days — reheats great!
