For the French Toast:

6 thick slices of brioche or challah bread (or Texas toast)

3 large eggs

1 cup whole milk (or half & half for extra richness)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Butter or oil for the pan
For the Churro Coating:

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

2β3 tbsp melted butter

Make the Custard:

In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

Prepare the Churro Sugar:

In a separate shallow dish, mix sugar and cinnamon for coating.

Dip each slice of bread in the custard mixture (both sides) and let soak for a few seconds.
