Ingredients:
- 2β3 lbs chicken wings (split at joints, tips removed if desired)
- 4β6 small red potatoes, halved
- 3 ears corn, cut into thirds
- 1 smoked sausage link, sliced (optional)
- 1 lemon, halved
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups chicken broth (or just use all water)
- 2β3 tbsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne (optional for heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 stick (Β½ cup) butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions:
- Boil the Base:
- In a large stockpot, combine water, broth, lemon halves, Old Bay, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Add Potatoes & Corn:
- Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add corn and sausage (if using); cook another 5β7 minutes.
- Add Chicken Wings:
- Add chicken wings to the pot and boil for 15β20 minutes, until fully cooked and tender.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1β2 minutes).
- Optional: Stir in a bit more seasoning or hot sauce for extra flavor.
- Drain & Toss:
- Drain the boil (or use a slotted spoon to remove everything).
- Place wings, potatoes, corn, and sausage in a large bowl or tray.
- Pour garlic butter sauce over the top and toss to coat.
