🍗 Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole

Prep Time: 10–15 minutes
Bake Time: 30–35 minutes
Serves: 6–8
Comfort Food Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

📝 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed (rotisserie works great!)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands), cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: ½ cup frozen peas, corn, or chopped cooked broccoli

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

🔸 Step 1: Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a deep casserole dish.

🔸 Step 2: Mix the Sauce

  • In a large bowl, stir together:
    • Cream of chicken soup
    • Sour cream
    • Milk
    • Garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper
    • 1 cup of shredded cheddar

🔸 Step 3: Add the Chicken & Biscuits

  • Gently fold in:
    • Cooked chicken
    • Optional veggies (if using)
    • Biscuit pieces (make sure they’re evenly coated)

🔸 Step 4: Assemble and Bake

  • Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining ½ cup cheese over the top.
  • Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until:
    • Biscuits are puffed and golden
    • Center is bubbly and hot
    • (You can cover with foil halfway through if the top browns too quickly)

🧂 Optional Toppings:

  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Crushed Ritz crackers or fried onions for crunch
  • A drizzle of hot sauce or ranch dressing

✅ Tips & Variations:

  • Spicy kick? Add a dash of cayenne or a can of green chiles.
  • Want bacon? Crumble in cooked bacon for even more flavor.
  • No canned soup? Make your own simple roux-based white sauce.
  • Need it gluten-free? Use GF biscuit dough and a GF cream soup substitute.
