Bisquick Sausage Egg and Cheese Muffins

Posted on March 30, 2025

These Bisquick Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Muffins are perfect for a quick breakfast or snack! They’re easy to make and packed with flavor. Here’s how you can make them:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (spicy or mild, depending on your preference)

  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners.

  2. Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess fat, then set it aside to cool slightly.

  3. Prepare the Muffin Batter: In a large bowl, combine the Bisquick baking mix, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined. Add in the cooked sausage and green onions (if using), and mix again.

  4. Fill the Muffin Tin: Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 of the way full. You should get about 10-12 muffins, depending on the size of your tin.

  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Cool and Serve: Let the muffins cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack. Serve warm.

These muffins are great for meal prep and can be stored in an airtight container for a few days or frozen for later use. Enjoy!
