🍗 Air Fryer Stuffed Chicken Breast

⏱️ Time: 25–30 minutes

🍽️ Serves: 2–4

🧂 Ingredients:

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup spinach (fresh or thawed frozen, squeezed dry)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning or dried herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Toothpicks or kitchen twine (to secure)

🔪 Instructions:

1. Prep the Chicken

  • Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast (don’t cut all the way through).
  • Season inside and out with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

2. Make the Filling

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, spinach, shredded cheese, and garlic until well combined.

3. Stuff the Chicken

  • Spoon the filling evenly into each chicken breast pocket.
  • Secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine to keep the filling inside.

4. Air Fry

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brush or rub the chicken breasts with olive oil.
  • Place them in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.
  • Cook for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken is cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

5. Rest and Serve

  • Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Remove toothpicks or twine carefully.
  • Serve with your favorite sides!

🍽️ Tips & Variations:

  • Swap spinach for sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, or basil pesto.
  • Add crispy bacon or prosciutto for extra flavor.
  • Top with marinara sauce for an Italian twist.
