Posted on September 25, 2025

Here’s a simple and delicious Air Fryer Roast Dinner that you can make — all in your air fryer (or split into batches if needed). It includes roast chicken, crispy potatoes, carrots, and even Yorkshire puddings if you like.

🔥 Air Fryer Roast Dinner (Serves 2)

🐔 Main: Roast Chicken Thighs or Breasts

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 chicken thighs or breasts (skin-on for crispiness)
    • Olive oil
    • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, rosemary
  • Instructions:
    1. Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
    2. Rub chicken with olive oil and seasoning.
    3. Air fry skin-side down for 10 minutes, flip and cook for another 10-15 mins until golden and cooked through (internal temp 75°C/165°F).

🥔 Crispy Roast Potatoes

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
    • 1 tsp oil
    • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, optional rosemary
  • Instructions:
    1. Parboil potatoes for 10 mins (optional but helps crispiness).
    2. Shake in a colander to roughen edges.
    3. Toss in oil and seasoning.
    4. Air fry at 200°C (390°F) for 20–25 mins, shake halfway through.

🥕 Carrots (and/or Parsnips)

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
    • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
    • 1 tsp olive oil
    • Pinch of salt and thyme
  • Instructions:
    1. Toss carrots in oil and honey.
    2. Air fry at 190°C (375°F) for 15–18 mins until tender and slightly caramelised.

🍞 Mini Yorkshire Puddings (Optional but awesome)

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 egg
    • 40ml milk
    • 40g plain flour
    • Pinch of salt
    • Oil for muffin tins or silicone moulds
  • Instructions:
    1. Mix all ingredients to make a smooth batter. Rest for 20 mins.
    2. Preheat air fryer with oiled moulds at 200°C.
    3. Pour in batter (1/3 full), cook for 10–12 mins till risen and golden.

🥣 Gravy (Stovetop or Instant)

  • Use chicken juices or stock and thicken with flour or gravy granules. Serve warm over everything.

⏱️ Timing Tip

If your air fryer is small:

  • Cook chicken and potatoes first, then keep warm (low oven or foil).
  • Do veg/Yorkshires next.
  • Or cook in layers with racks if your air fryer allows.
