Air Fryer Chicken Thighs

Air fryer chicken thighs are super easy to make and come out crispy and juicy! Here’s a simple recipe you can follow:

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.

  2. Prepare the Chicken Thighs: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This helps them crisp up in the air fryer.

  3. Season the Chicken: Rub the chicken thighs with olive oil. Then, sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using) evenly over both sides of the chicken.

  4. Cook the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side down, and cook for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, flip the chicken thighs so the skin side is up.

  5. Finish Cooking: Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy and golden.

  6. Rest and Serve: Let the chicken thighs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
