Air Fryer Candied Pecans

Here’s a quick and easy recipe for Air Fryer Candied Pecans—perfect as a snack, salad topper, or holiday treat!


🍯 Air Fryer Candied Pecans Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pecan halves

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 tbsp water

  • ½ cup brown sugar (or granulated sugar)

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • ½ tsp salt

  • Optional: pinch of cayenne for a sweet-spicy kick

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the coating:

    • In a bowl, whisk the egg white and water until frothy.

    • Add the pecans and toss to coat evenly.

  2. Add sugar and spice:

    • In a separate small bowl, mix the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.

    • Sprinkle the mixture over the coated pecans and stir until evenly coated.

  3. Air fry:

    • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).

    • Line the basket with parchment paper or a silicone liner (poke a few holes for airflow).

    • Spread the pecans in a single layer.

    • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.

    • Keep an eye on them the last couple of minutes to avoid burning.

  4. Cool and enjoy:

    • Let the pecans cool completely on a sheet of parchment paper. They will crisp up as they cool.
