🌭 Air Fryer Grilled Cheese Hot Dogs
⏱️ Time: 15 minutes
🍽️ Serves: 4
🧂 Ingredients:
- 4 hot dogs (your favorite kind)
- 8 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or sandwich bread)
- 4–6 slices cheddar cheese (or American, mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- Optional: mustard, ketchup, or relish for serving
🔪 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Hot Dogs
- If desired, slice hot dogs lengthwise (not all the way through) to help them cook evenly and get crispy edges.
2. Assemble the Sandwiches
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place 4 slices, butter-side down, on a clean surface.
- Top each with 1 or 2 slices of cheese, then a hot dog.
- Add more cheese on top of the hot dog for extra cheesiness.
- Cover with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
3. Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place sandwiches in the air fryer basket — don’t overcrowd.
- Cook for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
🧆 Serve With:
- Mustard, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauces.
- Pickles or a simple side salad.
