🍕 Stuffed Crust Pizza Bites
🧀 Ingredients:
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent dough sheet)
- 24–30 cubes of mozzarella cheese (about ½” size) or string cheese cut into chunks
- ½ cup mini pepperoni or cooked sausage crumbles (optional)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce (for dipping)
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or grease lightly.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 2″–3″ squares (you should get about 24–30).
- Place a cube of mozzarella (and a few pepperoni if using) in the center of each dough square.
- Pinch the corners and edges together to seal and form a ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
- Serve warm with warm marinara or pizza sauce for dipping. Garnish with parsley or basil if desired.
🔄 Variations:
- Stuff with anything! Try cooked bacon, olives, jalapeños, or a dab of pesto inside.
- Cheese overload: Use pepper jack, cheddar, or gouda for a twist.
- Sweet version: Use Nutella and mini marshmallows, and skip the garlic butter!
