PINEAPPLE CHEESEBALL

Here’s a sweet and savory party favorite: the Pineapple Cheese Ball! It’s creamy, tangy, and loaded with tropical flavor—perfect for crackers, veggies, or spreading on bagels.


🍍🧀 Pineapple Cheese Ball

Serves: 8–10 | Prep Time: 15 min + chill time


🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
  • ½ cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (for coating)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix the Filling:
    In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, crushed pineapple, bell pepper, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  2. Shape into a Ball:
    Scoop the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap. Use the wrap to form a ball. Wrap tightly and chill for at least 2 hours (or overnight) to firm up.
  3. Coat with Nuts:
    Spread chopped nuts on a plate. Unwrap the cheese ball and roll it in the nuts until fully coated.
  4. Serve:
    Place on a platter with crackers, pretzels, or fresh veggies. Garnish with a sprig of parsley or a pineapple ring for extra flair.

📝 Tips & Variations

  • No nuts? Use shredded coconut or crushed buttery crackers as the coating.
  • Add chopped ham or bacon bits for a smoky twist.
  • Spice it up with a little jalapeño or hot sauce.
