Ocean Love Colada

Posted on July 1, 2025

Here’s a tropical, dreamy drink that’s as beautiful as it is delicious — the 🌊 Ocean Love Colada. Think of it as a beachy twist on the classic piña colada, with a vibrant blue hue, creamy coconut flavor, and a splash of citrus to make it pop!

🍹 Ocean Love Colada

Ingredients (serves 1–2)

  • 2 oz white rum (or coconut rum for extra tropical flavor)

  • 1 oz blue curaçao (for that ocean-blue color and citrusy zing)

  • 2 oz cream of coconut (like Coco López)

  • 2 oz pineapple juice

  • 1 oz lime juice (fresh is best)

  • 1 cup ice

  • Optional garnish: pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, or toasted coconut

Instructions

  1. Blend it up:

    • In a blender, combine the rum, blue curaçao, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, lime juice, and ice.

    • Blend until smooth and frothy.

  2. Serve:

    • Pour into a chilled hurricane or tall glass.

    • Garnish with a pineapple wedge, cherry, or sprinkle of coconut flakes.

  3. Sip & escape:

    • Pop in a straw, close your eyes, and imagine the ocean breeze 🌴

💡 Mocktail Version (Non-Alcoholic):

Replace:

  • Rum → 1 oz coconut milk or extra pineapple juice

  • Blue curaçao → blue sports drink or a splash of blue raspberry syrup + lemon juice

Still gorgeous, fun, and family-friendly!
