3 Minute Fudge

Posted on March 9, 2025
This 3-minute fudge recipe is incredibly easy and quick to make, requiring just a few ingredients! It’s perfect when you’re craving something sweet and decadent in a flash. Here’s how you can make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate chips, if preferred)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds), sea salt, or sprinkles for topping

Instructions:

1. Prepare Your Pan:

  • Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish (or a similar-sized pan) with parchment paper or foil for easy removal of the fudge after it sets.

2. Melt the Chocolate:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips.
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth (this should take about 1-2 minutes).
  • Tip: Be careful not to overheat the chocolate, as it can burn quickly.

3. Add Vanilla and Mix:

  • Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  • If you’re adding any optional toppings like nuts, stir them in now.

4. Pour and Set:

  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
  • If desired, sprinkle sea salt, additional chopped nuts, or sprinkles on top for extra flavor or decoration.

5. Chill and Serve:

  • Refrigerate the fudge for about 2 hours, or until it’s firm and set.
  • Once set, remove the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper or foil, then cut into squares.

Serve:

  • Serve and enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Optional Variations:

  • Peanut Butter Fudge: Add 1/2 cup of peanut butter to the mixture before microwaving, stirring until smooth.
  • Mint Fudge: Add 1/2 teaspoon of mint extract instead of vanilla for a minty twist.

This quick fudge is super simple, indulgent, and will satisfy any sweet tooth in just a few minutes!
